The Vision:

Women Connecting Corner is a meeting place for women for the purposes of sharing encouragement and prayer. While we live together Christ died for us so we should focus on encouraging and edifying one another in the faith of Jesus Christ. The word of God is a place we can obtain and receive instructions and directions for our daily lives. Coming together at the Women Connecting Corner we endeavor to support and help one another to become God fearing Women, meeting together glorifying God together"Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
1Thessalonians 5:11

Don't Sweat the Small Things

As women we wear many hats' we are mothers, wives, single moms, caregivers, homemakers, career focused, ministry minded individuals. Therefore getting angry, upset, frustrated, or hurt becomes insignificant because life is to short it is a time and energy waster and the small stuff just doesn't matter that much. Will it really make a difference in 24 hours?

 

(1) Remember everything is not an emergency: Let it go and understand that everything will be ok nevertheless. (Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall. Psalm 55:22)

 

(2) Learn to surrender to the chaos: when all hell is breaking out around you take a step back breathe and become the calm in the storm. ("Be still and know that I am God" Psalm 46:10a)

 

Alright Ladies this next one is a hard one but here we go... (smile)

 

(3) Let others be right: no we don't have to be right all the time do you really want to use all that mental energy on it? Is it really that important to win? (Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other's faults because of your love. Ephesians 4:2)

 

(4)  Learn to Choose Your Battles: how can you live a joyous life if you are always at battle? Of course there will be times that you have to go to battle but choose your battles wisely and the rest let them go they all don't belong to you. (With him is only the arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles." 2 Chronicles 32:8)

 

Finally remember this.....

 

(5)  Shift Happens: Change is certain, lives change, people change, jobs change, we change our cars, our homes and many relationship's however even when change happens let us go with the wind and not against the wind, which can cause us to get blown off course. Winds can change a direction this is part of life, who knows what the future holds? With every new bend of the road there is a different outlook. Some of the most beautiful and useful things has come from a shift. ("When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the Lord, your God, Isaiah 43:2-3a)")

 

In closing set your mind on things above if you can sincerely take hold of and apply a mindset that doesn't sweat the small stuff, then you can truly began to walk in peace. ("Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable?if anything is excellent or praiseworthy?think about such things. Philippians 4:8")

A Prayer for the Women Connecting Corner:        

 

Lord I pray for peace and love for my sisters, protect them and keep them safe from all hurt harm or danger. Let them know that you love them unconditionally and that you have already paid the price them. I speak favor over their live and in their homes on their jobs, and where ever they may go in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ I pray amen.
