The Trinity
The Three persons who make up the single being God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are called the trinity, or also called members of the Godhead. Throughout the bible God is presented as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, not three Gods and not a three headed God but three persons of God.
God the Father
There is but one God there are many different attributes or traits of God. God is the creator and sustainer of the universe. For in the beginning God created the Heavens and earth Genesis 1:1. God is the Creator of man so God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him: male and female created he them Genesis 1:27
Creator: Author, inventor, maker
To create means to cause to exist, to bring to being, to produce through artistic or imaginative efforts.
We understand that God spoke the earth into existence, he spoke man into being.
we know that without God nothing would have existed. All things were made by him: and without him was not any thing made that was made John 1:3 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; Acts 17:28a
Attributes of God
Eternal - means being without beginning or end, existing outside of time, continuing without interruption, forever true or changeless.
God existed before He created anything. Time dwells within God. He causes, effects, and controls it. But time has no hold on him. But thou, O LORD, shall endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations. Psalm 102:12
God's nature is without beginning and without end. God dwells in eternity.God contains in Himself the cause of time. All of God's attributes bask (lie around) in His eternality. Since eternity neither wears out nor runs out, neither do His attributes. Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not faint or grow weary; there is no searching of His understanding. Lord, through all the generations. Isaiah 40:28 You have been our home! Before the mountains were created, before you made the earth and the world, you are God, without beginning or end. Psalm 90:1-2

Omnipotent
Omnipotence is God's unlimited authority to bring in to existence or cause to happen whatsoever he wills. Omnipotence means that God is all powerful and thus has unlimited authority. Man may have authority but not the ability to carry them through. That is only done by God. For our God is in the heavens, and he does as he wishes. Psalm 115:3
Omnipresent
Omnipresence is the aspect of God that transcends the limitation of space and is present in all places at all times. Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. Psalm 139:7-8
Omniscient
Omniscience means to know all or to have perfect knowledge. God's omniscience is His knowledge of all things including actual and possible, past, present, and future (foreknowledge). God is all knowing, and His knowledge is in no way restricted by temporal considerations. He knows and sees the past, the present, and the future with equal clarity and absolute certainty. To Him, all is the present. O LORD, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O LORD. Psalm 139:1-4
Holy
"Holy is the way God is. To be holy He does not conform to a standard. He is that standard. He is absolutely holy with an infinite, inconceivable fullness of purity that is unable of being other than it is. Because He is holy, His attributes are holy; that is, whatever we think of as belonging to God must be thought of as holy. Dictionary defines "holy" as "Properly, whole, entire or perfect, in a moral sense, therefore, pure in heart, temper or character; free from sin and sinful affections. We call a man holy, when his heart is conformed in some degree to the image of God, and his life is regulated by the divine precepts. You must be holy because I, the LORD, am holy. I have set you apart from all other people to be my very own. Leviticus 20:26
Other attributes of God
God is also love, faithful, righteous, jealous, infinite, longsuffering with a long list of other great attributes. And so remember that God knows all powerful, he never changes, He's faithful, longsuffering, holy, loves us unconditional, He is eternal. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believe in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16.

God the Son
The Gospels reveals that fact that Jesus is God. He is eternal and personally God's Son. Peter confesses "you are the Christ, the Son of the Living God" Matthew 16:16
Through the virgin birth the Son of God became human and began his ministry on earth. So the Word became human and lived here on earth among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness, and we have seen his glory, the glory of the only Son of the Father. John 1:14
Jesus means "savior" or "Jehovah (Yahweh) is Salvation" given to the Messiah.
There was never a time that Christ didn't exist:
In the beginning, Christ already was, In the beginning was the word the word was with God and the word was God. John 1:1
Christ became flesh: and the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14
Christ Incarnation: the word "Incarnation" literally means "In Flesh".
Isaiah 9:6 speaks of the birth of a human who was God. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called wonderful, counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 Why did this have to be?
Several reasons can be cited:
To reveal God to Us:
The Son reflects God's own glory, and everything about him represents God exactly. He sustains the universe by the mighty power of his command. After he died to cleanse us from the stain of sin, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God of heaven. Hebrews 1:3
To provide an example for our lives:
This suffering is all part of what God has called you to. Christ, who suffered for you, is your example. Follow in his steps. 1 Peter 2:21
To destroy the Devil's works on Earth:
But the Son of God came to destroy these works of the Devil. I John 3:8b
To be a mediator between man and God:
For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and people. He is the man Christ Jesus. 1Timothy 2:5
Class Three Page (3)- The Trinity
Jesus is fully God:
For in Christ the fullness of God lives in a human body, Colossians 2:9
For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, Colossians 1:19 (vs15-20)
Jesus is fully Man:
It is important to recognize that when we say that Jesus is man, we do not simply mean that He is partially man. We mean that He is fully human everything that belongs to the essence of true humanity is true of Him. But Jesus is not only truly and fully man. He is also a perfect man. This means that He is sinless. He does not have a sinful nature, and neither did He ever commit sin, even though He was tempted in all ways. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are?yet was without sin (Hebrews 4:15).
Jesus became our ultimate sacrifice:
Christ sacrifice was the ultimate fulfillment of all that the Old Testament sacrifices represented: God's forgiveness for sin. Because Christ is the perfect sacrifice for our sins, our sins are completely forgiven, past present and future. Christ removed sin which barred us from Gods presence and fellowship. But we must accept his sacrifice for us. By believing in him, we are no longer guilty but, cleansed and made whole. His sacrifice clears the way for us to have eternal life.
Because of Christ we have salvation:
Salvation: greek the verb sozo means "to save" the noun soteria "salvation" means to deliverance, rescue. Salvation is deliverance from the power or penalty of sin.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23
So because of Gods love he sent his only begotten son that whosoever believe in him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16
God allowed Jesus to pay for our sins. Jesus Christ paid our penalty, he became our substitute. The bible says that Jesus suffered death on the cross to pay for our sins.
But God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
Those who hear Gods plan of salvation must respond for salvation is only in Christ Jesus. Because of Jesus death on the cross every man, woman, boy, and girl can be saved from death and eternal separation from God.
But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart, that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. Romans 10:8-10

God the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is a distinct person. He is the third person of the trinity.
The Important thing to remember is that the Spirit of God is God in action in us. God's spirit is God at work. The Bible says that every believer has the Holy Spirit living within (Romans 8:9), you, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.
AT Work in Us
The Holy Spirit is actively involved in reminding us of all the things Jesus has said, convicting the world of sin, guiding us into all truth, and showing us things to come. All this I have spoken while still with you. But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. John 14:25-26
But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment: in regard to sin, because men do not believe in me; John 16:7-9
But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you.
NAMES OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Throughout the Bible, the Holy Spirit is called by a number of names which describe His character and ministry.
THE SPIRIT OF ADOPTION
''For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship (or adoption). And by him we cry, 'Abba, Father '' The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children Romans 8:15-16
Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father." Galatians 4:6
Class Three Page (5) - The Trinity
THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever? 17the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. John 14:16-17
One of the Spirit's ministries is to be a witness to the truth - that Jesus is the Son of God, that He came and died for mankind, that He is alive today, and that He brought "many sons to glory'' Jesus called Him ''the Counsellor" - the One who teaches and guides the believer. He is also called "the Spirit of wisdom and revelation'' (Ephesians 1:17) I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. and "the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and . . . of knowledge . . . '' The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him? the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of power, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD - (Isaiah 11:2)
THE SPIRIT OF POWER, LOVE AND SELF-DISCIPLINE
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7
Love, power and self-discipline are three of the Spirit's main ministries to the believer
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Ephesians 3:20
And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. Romans 5:5
So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature Galatians 5:16
